Protecting plants, protecting life

Plants make up 80% of the food we eat and produce 98% of the oxygen we breathe.

For the Serbian Association for Plant Protection, SECPA, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, in February 2020, we marked the International Year of Plant Health.

During the campaign, domestic and international experts pointed out the importance of creating conditions for stability and development in the field of plant protection in Serbia, with the application of science, innovation and modern technologies that provide the highest level of protection of human health and the environment. The campaign is aimed to raise awareness of the importance of protecting and preserving the health of plants, and thus our planet.
